Well, this week went by a lot faster than the last 2 did that's for sure! But it was still tough. It's amazing and I love it soo much!! haha Anyways this week I made a rule and that is I have those frootie tooties right? yup, I reward myself with one every single night! It's like good job Jacob you did it! Here's your frootie! haha but this week I got dear elders!! AH!! I loved them soo much!!! They were such a pick me up! I loved loved them so much!
Today we got to go to the temple and the visitors center. I have never been so happy! haha It is flat out crazy how people drive here but I love it!! haha anyways so yeah we got to go to the temple but it's under construction which is totally soo sad and upsetting! but that's ok because we got to go through the visitors center!! Which was soo amazing and spiritual! I loved it so much there! haha but I loved the temple too! I got some super cool stuff for the family at the gift shop there! We watched a movie on family and I just BALLED!! The entire movie.. haha I am sooo glad!! It makes me love this church more that I will be with my family forever and ever!! I love my family soo much they are amazing and I love each and every single one of my family members oh so much!! But going to the temple I was just watching out the window and it got me sooo EXCITED to serve the people every person I was like he NEEDS the gospel! I wanna help her cross the street! I wanna talk to him about Jose Smith!! They all need the gospel and it finally got me excited to serve the people!! haha but ok so this week I can't really remember what happened but I have realized what this place does:
1. flat out humbles you!!
2. stresses you out!
3. feel the spirit like no other!
It's crazy how much Spanish we have to speak its funny! haha but I LOVE IT!! GIVE IT TO ME!! I love the language!! I love the lord and I love the gospel!
This week the food hasn't been too bad. Actually it's been pretty good! I have never eaten so much fruit loops for breakfast though! Which is good! haha but the weather here hasn't been fun!! It stinks because I love the rain and it hasn't rained much here this week... dumb!!
I'm getting my hair cut in like 15 minutes... yay... haha hopefully it turns out! haha its soo funny 3 hermanas have come up to me and asked me if they could take a picture of my hair!! haha I'm like... guhhh... sure? haha 3 companiships its so funny!! but yeah
Mom... my pants that we got at Mans image the hemming has fallen out.. haha so now I get to sew them back together! I should have learned how to do that!
This week they are getting so many more people that they put this entire tent up! It weighs soo much. So after gym I can't move my arms because I do soo many push ups!! haha and sit ups! haha So we helped move it is so so fun! There were like 40 Mexicans moving the dang thing and me and my companion and stuff haha and they all loved me because I told them how good they were working!
Serivce project today! was sooo fun!! We worked at the comedor again and I told all the old people working there how beautiful they looked and now like seriously everybody in the entire cafeteria just loves me because I sing to them and tell them and compliment all of them! haha its so funny! haha
The 4th of July was really hard! Just knowing how much fun everybody was having and I was here stressing about the Spanish language but it was soo cool for dinner the comedor put red white and blue tablecloths on and we all sang the national anthem haha it was amazing I maybe cried just a little because I knew how much fun everyone was having at home! haha but I love you guys so much!! haha and I miss you guys sooo much! This week has been better with the Spanish and teaching the investigators! haha but funny story...
So every Sunday my district likes to do this thing called HAMMOND devo! Somebody picks a scripture and I just give a quick 5 minute devo about it! yeah its cool! anyways I am out of time but I love my family soo much!!! I love you soo much! Your the best ever!!!
Something I learned, I was reading about the story about Peter after Christ died... and when he is asking if Peter loves him.. and he has to ask 3 times if he loves me... then FEED MY SHEEP!! I realized that I have to love God... and pray to Him.. because the past 18 years I haven't been feeding his sheep.. I've been fishing well to Peter fishing just goofing off.. but Christ needs us all to do missionary work because he has soo many children who need the gospel! I realized that my mission will not end when I come home!! I am coming home and keep feeding his sheep because I love the Lord soo much and he has given us everything, this entire world!
